Otiake Estate is a small vineyard located on the southern banks of the Waitaki River Established in 2008 it comprises 3 separate small blocks planted with varieties such as: Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling and Gewurztraminer.

The Waitaki Valley is a unique area within New Zealand with many similarities to Alsace, France: such as climate, terroir and, of course,  limestone soils, producing wines with elegance and minerality.

Grant’s Road Pinot Noir 2011 ~ Ripe red cherry fruit with dusty tannins and chalky minerality creating succulent fruitiness balanced by savoury touches. $26.99

Waitaki Chardonnay 2012 ~ Tropical fruit notes and a citrus lift combine with subtle oak characters. $25.99

Malcolm’s Creek Riesling 2011 ~ Crisp, zesty Riesling showing wonderful citrus fruit characters with a firm mineral backbone. $25.99

Malcolm’s Creek Pinot Gris 2011 ~  Stone fruit flavours combine with a touch of spice to produce a rich, full-bodied Pinot Gris with good mouth-feel and texture. $25.99

Waitaki Pinot Grigio 2012 ~ Crisp, dry style Pinot Grigio made very much in the Italian style with plenty of zing, ideal as an aperitif. $25.99

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014 ~ Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc made with grapes sourced from the Wairau and Awatere Valleys. Intense zesty, citrus characters are followed by passionfruit, guava, red currant and dried herbs balanced nicely by a refreshing, racy acidity. $21.99
